Heritage Site is often described as 'the 8th Wonder of the World'. In addition to its breathtaking
volcanic scenery, it boasts, within a relatively small area, an enormous biodiversity. Over 30% of the
animals involved in the famous Serengeti migrations
spend part of their year in the Ngorongoro
Conservation Area. This fold-out map includes maps of Ngorongoro Conservation Area [1:250,000], Ndutu
[1:65,000] and Ngorongoro Crater [1:50,000]. The Ngorongoro Crater map shows all roads and
tracks in the Crater, all tourist-related sites, as well as vegetation zones. One very useful function of
the map is the information and warnings, especially those relating to seasonability of different routes. The

maps are based on information from Landsat 7 and GPS ground survey 2005. Contours are derived from Africover
